What is a Nurse Practitioner?

  • An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with a Masters or Doctorate Degree and clinical training that enables them to practice either independently or in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers.

    • Nurse Practitioners are licensed to provide a variety of healthcare services including diagnosis & treatment of acute & chronic health conditions, ordering & interpreting laboratory tests, prescribing medications & helping you understand your healthcare needs.

Do you accept insurance? 

  • No. Fees are offered at a discounted rate which allows us to spend more time providing care without the burden of insurance requirements.
    • By not accepting insurance, we can provide healthcare services for all patients regardless of type of insurance coverage. No one is turned away because of lack of insurance coverage or for being out-of-network.

What Payment methods do you accept?

  • We currently accept cash and all major credit cards. 
  • FSA, HSA & Flex spending cards also accepted.

What if I need more complex care?

  • We will provide all necessary documentation, prior authorizations and coding required for any adjunct services needed (e.g. labs, imaging, specialists referrals)
    • Medical emergencies will be referred to local emergency department

Who is eligible to become a patient?

  • We accept most patients ages 18 and older who meet our eligibility criteria.
    • Patients not eligible include:

      • Patients with 5 or more chronic medical conditions

      • Patients with unstable or uncontrolled chronic conditions

      • Patients with 5 or more prescription medications

      • Patients requiring multiple specialty services

      • Patients with frequent hospitalizations

Am I limited to 1 problem per visit?

  • We make every effort to provide as much assistance during each visit to prevent having to return more than necessary.

    • Some problems are more complex and require more time than we can give during 1 visit. In this case, we will address your most urgent needs and schedule an additional appointment in a timely manner.

Do I have to come to the office to be seen?

  • All initial appointments to establish care are completed in the office. Return visits and certain simple acute problems can be addressed virtually by telephone or video chat.
